Glenn McColl may not have had a background in the beverage or food industry before joining the team at Drink X, but he certainly knows a thing or two about hard work and dedication. As a former professional tennis player, Glenn spent years competing at a high level and honing his skills, and in 1994-95 was ranked 633 in the world in doubles. This experience has carried over into his work as the operations manager at Drink X, where he oversees production and keeps everything running smoothly.
Glenn’s journey to the coffee industry was a bit unexpected. After leaving his career in tennis, he worked as a production manager for a manufacturer that made plastic liners for shipping containers It wasn't until he received an offer from Tim, the owner of Drink X, to become a production supervisor that he found himself in the world of coffee.
Since then, Glenn has worked his way up to become the operations manager Tim's right-hand man. He loves the family-like environment at Drink X and enjoys the daily challenges that come with supplying products to customers.
When asked what he loves most about his job, Glenn cited the team environment and the variety of products and challenges that come his way. Every day is different, but he takes it in stride and always puts in 100%.
